The weather was sunny with temps at 65-70 degrees on Sunday, July 19, when the 12 participants of the Birds and Butterflies fieldtrip in Leicester enjoyed observations of 17 species of butterflies and 24 species of birds.

white admiral 1
viceroy 1

silver-spotted skipper 1
northern broken-dash 1
dun skipper 2
Some of the bird highlights included: bobolink, eastern kingbird, savannah sparrow, scarlet tananger, chimney swift, kestrel, black vulture, and common yellow-throat.
