To fellow MassLep followers:
The "4th of July" butterfly count for North Worcester County will take place on Friday, July 10th, weather permitting. As in past years, we are in need of volunteers to visit several locations that usually yield a nice variety of butterflies. So far we have four small teams who will be counting, but our reach is limited.
A few places not yet assigned include Dexter Drumlin (The Trustees) in Lancaster, Rauscher Farm in Clinton, and Sholan Farm/Fall Brook Reservoir area in Leominster. There are plenty of smaller public locations around, too, in Sterling and Princeton.
Rota Springs Ice Cream is a great after-count place to meet up and compare notes.

Thank you!
