Horn Pond Mountain, Woburn 2026-05-05

I went to HPM this morning starting at 9:30, it was fully overcast and sprinkled a bit of rain just as I parked. Those little orange-brown moths are starting to show up, but the elfins seem to be gone and the hairstreaks (including Juniper Hairstreak) are still absent. The sky cleared up by about 10:30, and I was there until about noon.

All told, I saw:

1 American Lady

3 Spring Azure

12 Duskywing (sp, though probably all/mostly Juvenal's)

4 Cabbage White

1 Tiger Swallowtail (sp, flyby)
