MA Butterfly Club Annual Potluck, Meeting, and Auction, Sat. Nov 14th

Hey Massachusetts butterfly people,

   We are having a live auction this Saturday night, Nov. 14th, at Broad Meadow Brook in Worcester, to benefit the Massachusetts Butterfly Club, starting at 5pm. You have heard about this over the past several weeks. Well, the time is almost here. We need you to attend (lots of food and entertainment and friends and enlightenment - what more can you ask for?), to bring something or some things to donate for the auction (preferably some wonderful things that everyone will really want to own or give as gifts), and to bring some moolah to pay for your purchases (a check will do). I am bringing back issues of "American Butterflies", 40 nature books, back issues of "Bird Observer", a book on New York state butterflies by our speaker, Dr. Arthur Shapiro, some other surprises, and a promise to auction off my favorite butterfly tie (third in the series). Look around and be generous. Whatever we raise all goes to making our club even more fabulous than it already is.
