Elise Barry was my dearest friends. We spent years traveling around looking for butterflies. Some of our favorite times were in Mission Texas where we would spend hours reveling in the glorious butterflies we saw and when you traveled with Elise everything else was a fascination for us. You could never walk along quickly as some incredible flora or fauna was near by that needed to be identified. Or it could be sitting in her sun porch with our binoculars trying to identify the moths that had spent the night on her screen. My most cherished memory his her laughter. We never spent time without laughing uproariously over something that caught our fancy. I will miss you always my dear funny friend.
