Howdy leppers,
A nice surprise in our garden today: a Common Buckeye, looking pristinely fresh. I think this is the only one I’ve seen here outside of 2019, when there was some sort of incursion and they were around here for weeks.
Also in the yard today:
GS Fritillary 1-2
European Cabbage White 3+
Azure/ETB 1 (not actually in our yard, about 3/4-mile away along Harkness Rd)
Peck’s (I think) Skipper, my FOY 1
Other grass-skippers (glassy wing?) 3+
Common Sootywing 1
Duskywing sp., prob Wild Indigo 1
Cheers,
Josh
