Cape Cod butterflies Sep 11-12

This past weekend I took part in a Mass Audubon "Native Bees & Other Pollinators" field school at Wellfleet Bay. These lep sightings were recorded while we were out and about in various locales.

1 Spicebush Swallowtail

1 American Lady

1 American Copper

5 Monarch (at least)

8 Pearl Crescent (at least)

Cabbage Whites - many, didn't keep count

High Head in Truro

1 Orange Sulphur

1 Red Admiral

3 Pearl Crescent

2 Monarch (at least)

Cabbage Whites - several, didn't keep count

***Sunday, September 12***

Fort Hill in Eastham

1 Clouded Sulphur

2 Least Skipper

1 Pearl Crescent

3 Monarch adults + 1 cat (5th instar)

8 Cabbage White

7 Monarch

5 Cabbage White
