10/6/25 - Red Admiral, Rockport, MA

While birding today (10/6/25) at Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Red Admiral. I didn't have my camera with me but I did have my spotting scope, so I had especially nice views of this butterfly basking in the sun- see attached photo.
