Howdy,
Bill and I spent from 10:30 to 14:30 at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, MA today (7 August 2025).
Lots of great plantings and tons of flowers in bloom. Beautiful sunny day. Perfect for our picnic lunch. Upper 70s, low 80s.
But to sound like a broken record, a pretty dismal butterfly showing.
Our first time there. Seemed like there should have been many, many more butterflies.
Certainly lots of other pollinators though.

Lots of Bullfrogs, a couple of Pickerel Frogs.
