FOSSology

Hello,

I've just been made aware of FOSSology (http://fossology.org/), a
project from HP to create tool for research about Free Software. It
seems to resonate with the efforts here, but it comes from the
enterprise world instead of the academy.

I don't recall it to have been mentioned during the workshop (maybe it
was, and I missed it, in that case sorry), so I thought it's useful to
post a pointer to it.

[Andrea Wiggins]

I recently met Bob Gobeille, the FOSSology project architect, at the
OSS conference in Milan. He's a very approachable fellow and really
interested in developing better tools to help identify license
information in open source projects - definitely open to feedback on
the tool if anyone gives it a try.
