Mass Humanities 250th Grant Opportunities

Greetings, Mass History Network,

Mass Humanities has announced two exciting Expand Massachusetts Stories grant opportunities. 

• “Story Forward”: Organizations that have received EMS grants from Mass Humanities between 2021-2023 can apply to advance their storytelling to reach new audiences or build on previous work. 
•  “Promises of the Revolution”: As we prepare for the country's 250th anniversary, organizations are invited to explore how people, past and present, responded to the promises of the American Revolution.  Applicants are encouraged to shine a light on untold histories and make space for new stories.  You can read more about our approach here: https://masshumanities.org/op-ed-making-the-250th-matter/

Mass Humanities is committed to an inclusive 250th commemoration. Small organizations, based in previously excluded communities, can apply to be part of our Advancing Equity Cohort through the “Promises of the Revolution” opportunity.  

Letters of Inquiry (LOI) are due June 9. Eligible organizations can submit an LOI for both opportunities but only one proposal can be selected to submit a full application.
