Join Margo Shea and Kyle Griffiths for their session "Doing Public History Now: Report from the Field and Reflective Conversation" at the Mass History Conference.
During the autumn of 2025, approximately 20 public history practitioners in Massachusetts were interviewed about the challenges and opportunities of researching and interpreting the past, engaging with visitors, and planning for the future amidst an uncertain economic and political climate. Join Shea and Griffiths as they share insights from the interviews and then strategize on how we can work together creatively and effectively to continue to champion history and heritage in Massachusetts.
Join this session at the 2026 MHA conference, "Revolutionizing History: Small but Mighty."
