apparently dukes county is the only county in Mass. where fire
departments do not respond to EMS calls
Police do respond with the ambulances - but the FDs do not get paged out
pretty sure that all the police and ambulance are staffed by career
people - but the FDs are not
exception - there might be 1 FD that operates an ambulance - maybe Edgartown
all of this is based on the radio traffic we are hearing via the
Marthas Vineyard scanner feed at Broadcastify
