1001 - Rescue 1 to Lawrence General Hospital in ALS mode

-----------------------------------------

Middleton FD operates a combination FD - paid men and call men - apparently they have 4 people in the station usually - 1 serves as the dispatcher - often they do not seem to have a medic in the station - the medics are paged (via radio) to calls often - Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 are ambulances - Squad 5 is a small utility type truck with EMS gear (maybe the ALS gear)

It took either 5 or 7 minutes to get R2 manned - depending on how you look at it.

On fire calls - the on duty (in the station) paid guys take E1. On EMS calls, the on duty paid guys take Rescue 1. I guess on MVAs, the on duty paid guys take Rescue 1 and Squad 5.
