about the RIDE mapping system - very weird

have seen the RIDE mapping system try to send the driver to prescott
st and to the upper ramp - very weird

also - the RIDE can not send drivers to 55 Fruit St at MGH - the
Yawkey Bld - apparently pickups and dropoffs have to happen at the
main entrance or the other main bld - maybe steadman st or 32 fruit or
something - very weird

also - the RIDE does not seem to recognize a difference between 300 mt
auburn st and 330 mt auburn st - RIDE probably does not want their
drivers going up the ramp to the doctors office bld because they might
end up in the paid parking lot with no way out - very weird

also - the directions seem to be slow sometimes - drivers have to sit
in an intersection until the system wakes up and tells them which way
to turn

also - they system can tell the driver to take the third exit out of a rotary

also - the system can tell a driver to "slide right"

also - the system likes to send the drivers into very dangerous
intersections and to cut across high speed traffic - such as Bdway at
16 on the arlington / somerville border
