some traffic is heard on WEMS Wide and some traffic is heard on 155.16
the dispatcher can send flight requests directly to the pilot -
probably via text
Life Flight 1 and 2 are both heard on WEMS Wide - they seem to have no
trouble using the WEMS Wide radios over Boston and on the ground in
Gardner
the dispatcher is called "Central"
LF1 is based in worcster - and LF2 is based in fitchburg - confirmed
via radio traffic
there are no paging tones nor alert tones heard - and possibly they do
not formally announce any calls via the radio - but they do the
usually flight traffic with fuel, ETA, SOB, etc
