pd - $ 2.9 M
fd - $ 1.8 M
dpw - $1.1 M
dpw has 10 or 11 ft people - approx 100K each
in that case fd should have 18 fulltime staff - divided by 4 shifts -
that gives 4.5 people on duty per shift - they claim to have only 2
people on duty per shift
do fd people cost twice as much as DPW people?
groton mass is a sleepy little rich bedroom town - no major industry at all

they could add 6 ft firefighters if they got rid of the ot and callmen
