Worcester Mass - airport ops

listening via OpenMhz - on one of the feeds for the Mass State TRS -
Group "ORH" can be selected - and it brings the following talkgroups -
ORH Fire + OTH Ops + ORH ?Mtnce? + MSP Troop F Patrol 3

"ORH Fire" seems to have the same dispatcher as Logan Fire - the
dispatcher IDs as "Fire Alarm" - Engine 61 was heard going out on
patrols a couple of times - Engine 62 was heard testing 1 day at 808
am

on "ORH Ops" - "Airport 10" was heard - actually - maybe 1 TG was "ORH
Emergency" - at one point "Airport 10" reported to someone that all
runways and taxiways were open

"Truck 38" seems to be a mtnce truck

Sometimes - State Police officers call in to report that they are
enroute to the Airport for duty - maybe they are assigned from nearby
barracks on a rotating basis - not sure which dispatcher they are
talking to exactly - if they are talking to "Troop F" then I would
guess that the police dispatcher is at Logan Airport (like the fire
dispatcher)

Note - in the last 5 years or so - MassPort has taken over all police
and fire duties at Worcester Airport - previously the 'City of
Worcester Airport Police' provided both fire and police service at the
airport - MassPort subcontracts their police duties to Mass State
Police Troop F - probably nothing much has changed in the way of
staffing - but the paychecks come out of a different pot now I assume
