in brighton section of boston
little known fact - even if brookline and watertown and newton had 20
closer fire companies than Boston - they would NEVER be sent - Boston
would send E49 from Readville before they would send any mutual aid to
"their" hospital fire
if Boston had 5 companies busy in brighton before the hospital fire
started - Newton E1 and L3 easily could have been the closest units to
Saint Elizabeths Hospital - more so for Brookline Engine 3 or 7 -
whatever they call it these days
St Es was one of the Caritas / catholic hospitals that had the big
recent scandal - but you know - move along - nothing to see here
