if you watch the suv back up - look along the driver side of the suv
and look at the fence - it is all white - then off white for a split
second - then red - which seems to indicate that she made contact and
then hit the brake - right?

or can you switch from reverse to drive without hitting the brake and
without wrecking the transmission? and switching from reverse to drive
should extinguish the white backup lights and engage the red running
lights - what can we tell about the intensity of the red lights? - can
we see a switch from braking to running?

looks like she had foot on brake in reverse - then switched to forward
with foot still on brake - then took foot off brake (and all red light
on John O'Keefe's car went away instantly)

crazy thought - when karen read reportedly said - i hit him - to the
firefighter 3 times - did she mean she hit his car? - did someone just
ask her about her damaged tail light?

yup - had foot on brake all the way back - you can see red disappear
from johns car as she moves her rear end past the corner of his car -
her corner must have hit his car somewhere between the corner of his
car and the middle of his car along the rear

apparently she had reverse lights and brake lights on the entire time
she was backing - and then the reverse lights went off and she moved
forward

if you look at her tire tracks it sure seems that her tracks ended
right behind his tire - which meant her rear end was 2 feet beyond
that

a surveyor could probably measure all those angles from the camera and
perfectly plot out where her right light cover would have hit his car

not sure if you can see her reverse thru the front windshield

a good mechanic would probably know exactly what the rear lights,
motor, and transmission in that vehicle does in a situation like that
