For a little history you might like to know: the guy on the couch is
Charles Stone III and this entire concept came from a short film he
made with his childhood friends who are also featured in the
commercial. He later directed Mr. 3000 and Drumline.

The short film this came from is titled “True,” by Charles Stone lll
(1999) BEFORE Budweiser decided to use it for their own commercials..
THEN scary movie just the following year.
