the best case response to the 911 call would have been 4 ambulances
and 4 or 8 paramedics and 4 EMTs and 4 medevacs - there is only 1
hospital nearby - it is 5 to 7 miles away iirc - they probably have 1
MD on duty in the ER plus 2 or 3 RNs - a medevac helo is only 10 miles
away - they would have 1 pilot and 2 medics onduty

the actual response might have been 1 cop + 1 ambulance with 2 medics
+ 1 fire engine with 3 EMTs

duxbury does have 3 FWD ambulances - https://massfiretrucks.com/FD
Info Pages/DUXBURY FIRE.htm

duxbury usually has 5 people on duty - 3 at sta 1 plus 2 at sta 2

duxbury has a total of 23 ff/medics + 8 FF/EMT - per the fd website -
all but 3 are fulltime - if they all live in duxbury and they all have
pagers or phone apps - and if a page went out immediately when the 911
call was received - then it is possible that they had 3 ambulances and
10 medics on scene in 5 to 9 minutes (depending on the locations and
calls in progress) - which would have been very impressive

lets check the tape and see what actually happened

radio recording for duxbury fd - call announced at 2000 on the tape -
1 ambulance and 1 engine and 1 suv sent - nothing on the tape from
0000 to 2000 - initial call for jumper with knife and neck wounds - no
mention of kids till 2604 ish on tape - and then crap hits fan

cops were probably yelling like crazy on their channel
