MEMORANDUM TO: FROM: RE: DATE: TOWN COUNCIL MICHAEL MOLISSE, MAYOR
FREE CASH FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE BOAT April 16, 2026 I hereby
submit the following measure to Town Council for its consideration and
action: “That the Town of Weymouth transfer the sum of $30,000.00 from
Free Cash for the purpose of funding costs associated with the
purchase of Fire rescue boat with motor and trailer.” This is item #26
in the Capital Improvements Plan. This measure requires a legal notice
and public hearing. At the time of this submittal the available amount
of Free Cash is $2,941,680.00.
