they have had 1 person per month die in car crashes for the last 4 years
they recommend safety improvements to roads - lights - rumble strips - etc
the word 'ambulance' is not found in this report anywhere even though
a fire deputy chief was on the committee
high speed seems to be a factor
going off the road seems to be a factor also
its a flat county - mostly rangeland - mostly rural - between san
antonio and austin
no mention of medevac helo either
unknown if the volunteer FDs go to rural ems calls or not - they
probably do go to rural car crashes - but they are probably not even
EMT trained
