history

there were 2 ambulance services in brattleboro - rescue inc had 2
stations and was the primary provider for several towns - there also
was a funeral home that had an ambulance and they did transfer work -
maybe even advanced interhospital transfers - iirc they closed like in
2018 - brattleboro fd has 2 stations and are all fully paid staff -
but iirc the west station only had 2 people on duty 24/7
