USCG is changing radio channel ID numbers

US Coast Guard (USCG) channel numbers are currently transitioning. Per
the USCG: “In accordance with the ITU (International
Telecommunications Union), the Coast Guard will start utilizing
four-digit channel number designators in communications with the
public. As an example, instead of shifting mariners to channel 22A, we
will be shifting them to channel 1022.”
