would guess that the 35 full time stations also have one ladder truck
each - staffed by 2 people - berlin also has 50 volunteer stations
berlin has a population of 3.7 million people
los angles has 3.8 million people - but 100 paid stations and zero volunteers
berlin runs 52 mm hoselines which are apparently equivalent to 1.75
inch lines in usa - plus they use CAFS alot
