Subway real time info

I understand that it makes sense to start with buses, but real-time
info is no less important for subway riders. I often get to the
station only to see a train pulling out. Knowing where the trains are
would allow me to time my departure from home and eliminate a lot of
waiting time (and frustration).

When will I be able to see real-time info for the Red Line and other
subway lines?
