Hi Everyone,
I wonder if there is a CPT code to charge for the scope.

IT OUT The invendoscope SC200 is designed to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination.
The FDA has cleared the world's first single-use scope for colonoscopies, Invendo Medical's Invendoscopy E200 System, which includes the invendoscope SC200.
The scope was designed to address the challenges associated with reprocessing endoscopes, "the importance of which has been underscored by various recent superbug outbreaks," says Timo Hercegfi, Invendo's chief executive officer.
The complex reprocessing of endoscopes is "costly, overly challenging, manual-labor intensive and increases patients' risk for cross-contamination," says Invendo, which points out that guidelines require only that GI flexible endoscopes be high-level disinfected, because they can't withstand the heat of high-temperature sterilization.
The invendoscope SC200 is also sophisticated, says Invendo, with robotic-assisted tip control that provides full retroflection and enables visualization behind colonic folds. It also has a lightweight design and a "scope controller" that contours to physicians' hands, which combine to improve control and comfort, says the company.
Invendo plans a gradual rollout later this year and a full launch in 2017. Each single-use scope will cost slightly more than $200, says the company.
