Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of  July.

Lisa has a question for the group below.

Lisa at MAH we do not send this information to accounting.

I have done time studies on how long it takes to process a complete set of instruments through the entire process following the Instruction for use with different vendors instruments. It does not sound like this is what you are looking for.

Karen

Subject: units

Hello, I was hoping to have a little input as far as what we refer to as budget units. Each month we report to accounting how many items we sterilize or HLD.

The problem is there is no time associated with these units, so if we sterilize a prepackaged set of towels from Angelica or clean and disinfect an ERCP scope they both equal 1 unit.

Could anyone share what information they send to accounting monthly and what it means?

Thank you

Lisa
