Weather:
Sunny until noon; in the afternoon, cloud-cover increased from 5% to
95%,
then diminished again to 50%. Wind W 2-11 mph. Hazy throughout.
Temperature
unseasonably warm again, 70-75 F.


Raptor Observations:
West wind is always a hindrance to the migrants at this site; the meager
tally (16) was to be expected. Not counted as migrating: immature Bald
Eagle, Red-tail.

Non-raptor Observations:
Northern Flicker (male; a late transient), Blue Jay, American Crows (6),
Common Ravens (5), Black-capped Chickadee, Golden-crowned Kinglets (3),
Ruby-crowned Kinglets (4), Eastern Bluebirds (3), American Robins (3),
Finch species (25; probably Pine Siskins, but silent), Purple Finches
(2),
American Goldfinch, Field Sparrow, Dark-eyed Juncos (2), Savannah
Sparrow,
Song Sparrows (2; one softly warbled brief snatches of song), Palm
Warbler,
Yellow-rumped Warblers (2).
