Confirming that I saw and photographed the barnacle goose at Bullough's
Pond in Newton. It was hanging around with 9 Canada geese, and was easy to
identify: black neck, white at the waterline, buff face and black eye patch=

Quite possible, there was one hanging around for a while last month. Last spotted at the rt 9/ 95 intersection.
