Impressive numbers of Sea Ducks again off Revere Beach. My guess is
around 5,000 or so birds. Lots of White-wing, and Common Eider ( I
assume there are some Surf and Back mixed in) . I haven't had time to
take out my scope and do a close look, but it is worth the trip over to
see them. My guess is they are eating the small surf clams that are
washing up again this year. One of the Rangers is also reporting that
Nahant Beach has a 1,000 + birds aswell.
