[MASSBIRD] Common Murre

Steve Babbit and I spent most of the day on Cape Anne. Partially due to a fortuitous encounter with a stranger; we had prolonged excellent views of an unambiguous Common Murre. The seas were calm, it was warm and because of the clouds, there was little glare. A nice, unusual, if not rare, Alcid, drifting in the calm see and the air clear. The perfect conditions gave the event an odd unreal quality to it. As if it emerged from a deep dream. This was not a dream. You can ask Steve.
