[MASSBIRD] 2023 Tour of Canadian Roosts!

Greetings all,

For those with an interest, the blog has just been updated with five new entries that provide

stories, photos, and videos, from just finished tour of Winter Crow Roosts in five Canadian

cities near Montreal and Toronto.

My new birding friends rolled out the red carpet of hospitality and provided the warmest of

welcomes. They were gracious and were more than happy to meet me out in the field and share

their local stories on birding, the roosts, long experiences with their local bird clubs and their Annual

Christmas Bird Count.

Jan. 16: Chatham-Kent

All of these local birders had been very helpful in providing solid input for the recently published Crow

Roost Counting Guide, and were delighted to hear that the counting guide has been so well received!
