* The traffic control signs and street signs were removed when the old poles
were taken down two weeks ago. The new signs will go back up next week.
Please encourage your members to exercise caution during this period.
* We will be reinstalling the �No Turn on Red� sign next week so vehicles
will not be able to turn right off Lamartine onto Centre. This will
provide an exclusive pedestrian phase.
* As part of the plan to repave the intersection, we are planning to mill
the intersection (remove the top layer of concrete which will expose man
hole covers etc.) on Thursday and pave on Friday. As mentioned above,
please encourage your members to use extra caution on Thursday and Friday.
* The crosswalks will be painted once the paving is finished.
We are still working toward the goal of wrapping up this phase of construction
within the next two to three weeks. As always, please call or email me with any
questions and/or concerns.
