Donkey Republic supporting CM Barcelona

Hi guys,

I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tobias Dara Kankelborg I am the CMO at the bike sharing company Donkey Republic. I am writing you to let you know that we really respect your entire movement and think that your work is amazing and is truly needed in terms of having our future more bike friendly - we also work for more green cities.

I know that you guys do not do commercial partnerships, and this is also not the purpose of me writing to you guys, I simply wanted to introduce myself and let you know that we going forward will encourage our riders to join your ride - and we will also participate ourselves.

We have previously had great collaboration with Critical Mass Budapest, and this month we will joining the ride in Berlin too - to support CM there.

On the 7th of December we will also join your ride in Barcelona. We also want all of our riders to join you guys, so we will promote your ride to our riders and offer them free bikes for the Barcelona ride - so we get more people on the street during the ride.

We are looking forward to seeing you on the 7th, and I wish you a great day.

Hi,

Yes - so we have created the code "CM4BCN" which can be used from 16:00 on Friday 7th December. With this code you can make a rental up to 12 hours with one of our Donkey Bikes, to join the ride at 20:00. If people do now have the app - they can download it from www.donkey.bike and then input the code in the app.

Sorry, I think maybe you're wrong, because there are two MC close at the time but in different cities. One of them is in Badalona, on november 30th, and the other one is in Barcelona, on december 30th.

Hi Laura,

Thank you for the reply and note - I mixed up the Berlin ride with the Barcelona ride, which is on the 30th November in Berlin, we are supporting Berlin too.

I thought that the Barcelona ride was on the first Friday every month, so the 7th of December from under Arc of Triumph - is that not correct?

I was not aware that there was a CM in Badalona too, but yes if you have a contact there I would love to reach out to them too.

But the code "CM4BCN" is for the Barcelona ride, and available from 16:00 on the day of the ride. Which I though was the 7th of December - but you say that it is on the 30th December in Barcelona? I got the info here: https://barcelona.bicicritica.com/en/when-where-critical-mass-barcelona/
