This job’s responsibilities may include task assignment to support, administer, or access systems, which contractually requires ADP I or II Public Trust Access Level. Eligibility for ADP Clearance requires US Citizenship.

 

Job Summary:

To create and maintain analysis and design specifications, perform programming and testing of client server and other system components and provide technical assistance in solving complex technical issues while following development standards.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1.       Works with business users in analyzing, designing and developing technical specifications for a variety of client server and windows native applications.

2.       Proposes technical approach to convert technical specifications into system/application code ensuring stability, scalability and performance of the system/application.

3.       Maintains knowledge of business requirements and ensures standard change control and configuration management practices are followed.

4.       Participates in software design and programming reviews to ensure that design and programming standards and guidelines are followed and ensures component test standards are followed.

5.       Communicates with appropriate groups to ensure application changes are effectively implemented and deployed in accordance with performance standards.

6.       Prepares and submits project status reports and assists with project estimates.

 

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Position requires a bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field and five years' related work experience in applications design and programming. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

·         5+ years relevant work experience in the development, integration, deployment, testing and support of enterprise-level software applications using Delphi.

·         Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following; native applications for Windows and mobile devices (using tools such as .Net, Java), next generation client technologies, distributed computing/systems, relational database development (Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server), server side development for web-based and client applications, rapid application development, Web 2.0 technologies, user interface designs, and integration of third party systems

·         Proven ability to blend into an existing team to resolve highly complex problems using their independent judgment and effective communications skills.
