Hi everyone,

I'm really excited to let you know about another great family-friendly
website resouces. It's called Family Friendly Cincinnati -
http://familyfriendlycincinnati.com/ and I'm now a contributor. It's
made up of other Moms in the Greater Cincinnati area and they have
some great recs on things to do and more. My recent post is on some
upcoming events this weekend - Aussie Football (taking place at
Heritage Oak Park), The Blue Ash Heritage Festival and The Great
Pumpkin Fest at Keehner park (we've been to both in the past and my

I didn't get a chance to post this on MasonMetu yet (so much to do so
little time) but Luxottica is having their friends and family sale
this weekend and you can get some awesome deals on designer
sunglasses. Discounts up to 80% off and more. But, brace yourself if
you go since there may be long lines. It's on Sat. Oct. 10 from
8am-1pm at the Mason home office (located off of Tylersville Rd.). The
sale benefits the United Way. No checks but they take credit cards and
cash.

I'm not sure if I already posted this on my last email but Qdoba and
Boston Market have some new kids' eat free deals going on in October.

Get some yummy chicken BBQ before the Homecoming game on Friday, Oct.
9. Help support our local communities (Deerfield and Mason) and the
Mason Fine Arts school programs at the BBQ. Dinners are $10 and will
be served from 4:30-7:30pm at the front of the school. You can also
eat on site in the Mason Middle School cafeteria. Kings also has their
homecoming that night and they have a chicken dinner for $7 (more info
below).

basketball, volleyball and more).

Oct. 10 - Blue Ash Heritage Day - Noon-6pm - FREE - Step back in time
and see what life was like in the 1800s with crafts, scavenger hunts,
entertainment, nature trails, petting zoo, pony rides, Native American
dancers, horse drawn carriage rides, RiverBoat circus and more.

Oct. 10 - 8th Annual Fall Feast - Valley View Farm - 4pm to dusk - Fun
for the family - hay rides, live music, horse rides, kids' crafts and

years ago with tomahawk throwing, period costumes, candle making and

Oct. 10-11 - Australian Football League's National Tournament - FREE

Cincinnati Dockers compete (32 men's teams and 6 woment's teams).

Oct. 11 - 100 Inning Game - FREE admission to the second annual 100
Inning Baseball Game - The Homerun Club & the Mason baseball program
are hosting this event from Noon-4:30pm at the varsity baseball
field. There will be lots of fun family things to do - games, prizes,
kids' activities, food and more.

Oct. 11 - International Day of Kite Flying for Peace - Noon-5pm -
Visit the Voice of America museum to see all the spectacular kites
