Wow, here comes October and there is so much going on. For a fun
family-friendly event this weekend, head over to Natorp's. They are
hosting PumkinFest to support ProKids (an organization that helps
abused and neglected foster children find permanent, nurturing
homes). You can read more about ProKids on Associated Content by
going to: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2233379/prokids_standing_up_for_foster_children.html?cat=8

ProKids Community Director is also my featured Women to Watch on
MasonMetu. See more about Jennifer at http://www.masonmetu.com/women-to-watch.php.

There are plenty of fall festivals and farms to visit. We went to one
this weekend called, Keepin-It-Country, and my girls loved it
(probably because we were the only ones there initially this past
Sunday - it was overcast and cloudy). For $10 they got unlimited pony
rides, bounce house fun, tractor hayrides (Kaitlin & I had our own
personal ride), mini train rides, playtime in the hard corn and
playground, and a walk through the corn maze. Everything is on a
smaller scale but for ages 4 to 6 years it was perfect. Sarah even
said, "this is the best farm ever" and both girls kept asking when
they could go back. Go to http://www.masonmetu.com/monthly-top-pics.php
for the ongoing events listing and you'll find info on Keepin-It-
Country.

Head over to Culver's tomorrow (Oct. 1) for the Butterburger Bash
honoring Ellie Bennett. 10% of sales support Mason Early Childhood
Center's walk team for the Find a Voice Fund (more info below).

If you like the "Wizard of Oz" & "Wicked", don't miss Ballet Tech
Cincinnati's production of The Emerald City on Oct. 9-10. Buy those
tickets now so you don't miss out. More info on the main blog page at
http://www.MasonMetu.com.

My latest blog, "Five More Minutes.....ahhhhh!" is at the bottom of
http://www.MasonMetu.com. I'm sure many of you can relate to this
one.

Here's the events. Remember to go to http://www.masonmetu.com/monthly-top-pics.php.
