Hello, Halloween is coming soon and there are lots of great free
activities coming up for this weekend. Last week I told you about
some free events that I posted on Family Friendly Cincinnati but
here's the link again to remind you so you don't miss out on the fun:

Halloween party at Tri-Health Pavilion on Friday - it looks like a
great time. Don't forget that Mason is having AutumnFest on Saturday
at Corwin Nixon Park - have your little ones come dressed in costume.

If you want to smile, you need to see the "I Got A Feeling" video from
the Cardio Dance ladies at Lifetime Fitness. The video was submitted
to Oprah's show. I hope they got noticed. You can see the video at

Mom's don't forget to come to the free progressive shopping night this
Thursday from 6-9pm at Carmelle's Homearama. Enjoy food, drinks and
conversation and make sure you stop by the Mix & Mingle house and
visit the Cincinnati Business Connections table (MasonMetu is a part
of this wonderful group of women and we have a free raffle basket to
give away).

For an upcoming fundraiser to support, think about attending Cancer
Family Care's 30th Anniversary - Wine Tasting & Auction on Nov. 6.

This week, you can also support Mason City Schools as they participate
in National Make a Difference Day on Oct. 24 . The schools are
accepting items the rest of this week and you can send in your non-
perishable food items and paper products to school with your child.

Difference Day on Oct. 24 - If you'd like to help the Mason City
Schools, they are doing a variety of donations this week. Collection
bins are located within each school.

October 21- Cooking Class – Harvest Favorites - 7:00 p.m. FREE
Join us for this delicious class as we celebrate the bountiful fall
harvest! In this demonstration class, we will give you some fresh
fall ideas along with some old favorites revamped. We’ll have
delicious bites and the recipes for you to take home. Whole Foods
Market Mason -Registration is required.

Oct. 21 - Nostalgic Train Ride - 10am & Noon - Lebanon Mason & Monroe
Railroad - one hour train ride with railroad history stories. $12.50/

games, music, treats and prizes. Cost is only $5/child for ages 2 and
up, adults are free.

Oct. 23 - Inventorfest at the Cincinnati Public Library - 3:00-5:00pm
- Stop by the main library downtown for the Young Inventors Showcase
where kids and their families can participate in classes and talks
while showcasing their latest inventions. For ages 8-18 years.

Oct. 23 - Pumpkin Party - 7-9pm - Games, pumpkin carving (family takes
home the pumpkin), treats and learn some pumpkin history. All for
only $5/family (motor vehicle permit needed). Sharon Woods, Sharon

Oct. 23 - Halloween Jamboree - 10am - Little ones (ages 3-5) can enjoy
a fun time with crafts, story time, not-so-scary animals and a walk.

October 27 - 5% Day! Benefitting the Ndukwe Foundation. Do your

Ndukwe Foundation’s mission is to engage youth in activities that
