Merry Christmas everyone! It will be here before we know it and I'm a
bit behind this year. I don't know if I'll get those Chirstmas cards
out this year. I'm sure some of you can relate and on my latest blog,
"Please Don't Take Us Off Your Holiday Card List" you can see what I'm
talking about. It's on the main blog page at http://www.MasonMetu.com
(scoll down to the bottom of the page).

There are so many wonderful holiday events going on. We're going to
see Snowland at the Great Wolf Lodge this weekend. I know I've
mentioned before how much our family loves GWL and once again we are
going to do a mini-vacation from home. But if you just want to stop
by to see Snowland, eat at one of their restaurants and enjoy the
arcade and Cub Club you can do that too. The lobby really is magical
and they have a holiday Clock Tower show and it actually snows in the
lobby - the kids are always so excited when this happens. If you'd
like more info on all that GWL has going on see
http://www.masonmetu.com/great-wolf-lodge-mason.php. If you don't want
to cook on Christmas Day they are having a nice buffet too and if you
want a fun New Years Eve expereince then they have some great hotel
packages available.

Also, if you are looking for some ways to donate to some worthy causes
this holiday season, please see the main blog page and go to the
"Worthy Causes" section or go to http://www.masonmetu.com/donation-sites.php.

Last weekend we were able to go to the Holiday Fest at the Beach
Waterpark and my kids had a blast. If you do this event, you'll want
to get the all you can ride wristbands since the admission price only
covers you getting into the park. The other activities are lots of
fun and your kids will want to do them multiple times so the all you
can ride wristband is the best way to go. Check out their online
tickets since they may have some specials to offer. Go to
http://www.masonmetu.com/amusement-and-water-parks.php and click on
the tickets link under the Beach. There's ice skating, an adorable
farm petting zoo with the sweetest baby animals, a tobaggon sled ride
(a bit scary for me but the girls wanted to do it over and over), a
horse-drawn carriage ride through the park with lots of colorful
lights to see, pony rides and plenty of hot chocolate and yummy
treats. It's a really fun time for the family.

Below is a listing of the upcoming events - remeber to check
http://www.masonmetu.com/monthly-top-pics.php for more details as well
as a listing of all the ongoing Holiday Happenings (too many to post
here). If you are too busy doing all these fun holiday events but
still need to do some shopping see the MasonMetu Marketplace for some
online shopping: http://www.masonmetu.com/masonmetu-marketplace.php
(shameless plus I know - lol).
