2 hour delay. I guess it's a hint of things to come.
As a family, we had our first roller skating experience and we really
had a great time. We visited Skatetown USA in West Chester and my
girls keep asking when we get to go back again. You can read more

They also have some great roller skating programs for little ones -
check out their Tiny Tot Roll & Stroll events on Wed. mornings. You

where to go for roller skating, ice skating and sledding. (If I
mentioned this in an earlier post, please forgive me - they start to
run together and I forget what I may have posted previously - hope
that's not a sign of things to come - oh my.)
If you've read any of my blogs, you know that sometimes my poor
husband doesn't always get the best press but this time he really
deserves some high praise so I had to blog about it. See the "I Dont'

I also recently joined Cincinnati Mommies which is an online support
group for all Mom's - from stay-at-home to Mom's in the workforce.
It's a great way to see what other Mom's are experiencing and they
also have playgroups, Mom Night Outs and more. You can be a member of
Cincinnati Mommies as well as joining local Mom's Clubs. Another
great one that I'm a member of is Mom's Club International. You can

Jan. 7-8 - Renaissance Feaste at Otterbein Retirement Community -
Enjoy a "Boar's Head" dinner, with entertainers in 16th century attire
(5:30pm). $15/person and proceeds benefit Otterbein's Benevolent Fund
and more.
Jan. 8 - Shabbat Around the World Series - Kosher Morrocan Jewish
Cuisine - Northern Hills Synagogue - Services at 6pm with dinner at
7pm - $12/adults, $6/3-10 years. Reservations must be made by Jan. 4.
Jan. 8 - Culture Kids - Silly Sculputures - Designed for pre-schoolers
and a caregvier - reservations required and fee for workshop.
Cincinnati Art Museum. 10-11:30am or 2-3:30pm.
Jan. 8 - Basketball Food Drive - See a great basketball game and
donate a non-perishable food items at the Kings/Little Miami varsity
basektball game. 7:30pm (JV team plays at 6pm). High School is located
at 3001 E US Highway 22 and 3. Morrow, OH 45152.
Jan. 8 - Support the Girl Scouts - The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
annual cookie sale starts today. If you know a local Girl Scout,
place an order for some yummy cookies (only $3.50/box).
Jan. 8 - Parent's Night Out - Pump-it-Up - 6:30-10:30pm - Kids will
have fun jumping, playing games and having dinner. 7724 Service Center

Jan. 9 - Auditions for American Girl Fashion Show - 9am-Noon - Kings
Toyota - 4700 Fields Ertel Road. Girls ages 4-13 can audition to
model for the April 23-25 American Girl Fashion Show that will be held
at Music Hall. Fashion Show benefits Aubrey Rose Foundation.
Jan. 9 & 16 - Lego Mania - Drake Science Center - 10am-Noon - Ages 5-7
and 8-13 make Lego creations that they then test out on challenge
courses. $20 for first session and $35/for both.
Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30 & Feb. 6 - Winter Hike Series - At 10am every Sat.
for 5 weeks, you can go on a winter hike in the Hamilton County Parks
- Registration is required and the fee is $5/per hike (4-5 mile
hikes).
Jan. 10-11 - Audition for Disney's Mulan Jr. with Acting Up - Click
