Hello everyone, Thanksgiving is a little over a week away and the
holiday season will be here before we know it. I still haven't
downloaded my Halloween pictures to Snapfish yet - ahhhhh.
With the holidays approaching, there are so many "worthy causes" that
you can help locally. I have some of these listed on the main blog
page at
http://www.MasonMetu.com under "Worthy Causes" but here are
some highlights:
- Deerfield Township is having a coat drive.
- The City of Mason is supporting Hope for the Holidays with a canned
food drive and other items.
- Warren County is having a the "Yes We Can Food Drive Challenge" to
help local families.
- Hannah's Treasure Chest - donate gently used clothing, toys,
furniture to help families in the Miami Valley.
I also have other donation places listed under
http://www.masonmetu.com/donation-sites.php,
If you don't want to cook this Thanksgiving, Great Wolf Lodge is
having a Thanksgiving feast. See more on
http://www.masonmetu.com/great-wolf-lodge-mason.php.
If you get to to out for an adult night out, then try HUGO's in
Oakley. You can read my review on Associated Content at
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2392256/hugo_southern_sophisticated_cuisine.html?cat=8.
If you are doing any online holiday shopping this year, think about
stopping by the MasonMetu Marketplace. There are many great stores
that you'll recognize and of course, Amazon.com, is always a winner.
See more on
http://www.masonmetu.com/masonmetu-marketplace.php. If
you think your kiddos would like a letter from Santa then see the ad
at the top of the page there.
Here's the upcoming events - make sure you see
http://www.masonmetu.com/monthly-top-pics.php
for more details and always double check the "Ongoing Events" since
