Hello everyone, I've been on an H1N1 quest but I haven't had much
success. You can read about it on my blog post "H1N1 or Bust...." on
http://www.MasonMetu.com (scroll way down). If your family has
decided to get the vaccination I wish you more success than we've had
(and a lot of patience). I may be headed to downtown Cincinnati next
week to see if I can get the vaccine there. Wish us luck!
Wow, Halloween is only a few days away. You wouldn't know it at our
house since my girls have been in their costumes every weekend in
October and my youngest has already logged in wearing 3 days of her
cat costume this week. We definitely get good use out of them. Of
course, with Halloween getting closer, you'll only have a few more
days to enjoy many of the fun activities. Please visit
http://www.masonmetu.com/monthly-top-pics.php and scroll to the
ongoing events. We're going to go to Deerfield Township's Halloween
Treat Street on Friday.at the Deerfield Towne Center. My girls enjoy
this every year - they get to dress up and trick-or-treat at the
different stores. Deerfield Township will also have Honey Hill
Petting Farm there.
Election day is coming soon - Tuesday, Nov. 3. I hope you'll vote,
vote, vote. We have some great candidates running for the Mason
School Board who I'll support on Tuesday - John ODell, Connie
Yingling, Marianne Culbertson and Beth DeGroft (wish I could vote for
all four but you can only vote for 3 out of the 8 candidates
running). Check out
http://www.masonvoter.com for more information on
the local candidates or see them live on ICRC TV at
http://www.icrctv.com/mason-schools-board-of-education.
On Fridays, Family Friendly Cincinnati posts a lot of great ideas to
do for the weekend too. You can visit them at
