Hi everyone, hopefully you are back in the school groove. I have one
more starting preschool next week so we will finally have some routine
to make our lives easier.
There are some wonderful "Worthy Causes" to support such as the
Leukemia & Lyphoma Society's Light the Night Walk on Sept. 17 and if
you support this you are also helping local Mason students, Liz
Lothrop & Joel Brown. Stop by BD's Mongolian Grill on Sept. 14 as Way
North Sports has a pre-walk celebration for these two amazing teens.
Click here for the printable coupon at
http://www.waynorthsports.com/special-events/232.
If you want to be a part of Way North Sports walk on Sept 17 you can
log onto
http://www.waynorthsports.com/special-events/233. You can
find other "Worthy Causes" on the main blog page on the right side at
http://www.masonmetu.com.
I have a new featured business women for our Women to Watch series.
She's a great friend, terrific Mom, and an awesome realtor. Her name
is Michelle Hudepohl of Century 21 Stellar Real Estate. You can read
more about Michelle at
http://www.masonmetu.com/women-to-watch.php or
you can see my article on my Michelle on Associated Content at
http://tiny.cc/5wiqQ.
Let's not forget our schools as we gear up for the start of another
year. On Sept. 8, Whole Foods Market will donate 5% of their sales to
Crayons 2 Computers. This is an awesome organization that helps
teachers get free school supplies for their classes. And if you bring
in a school supply to donate, you can get a coupon for $5 off a $25
purchase. It's also great that this fundraiser coincides with Whole
Foods Two for Tuesday Pizza special - yum yum!
The Mason Arts Festival is coming soon (Sept, 20) but if you want to
get a preview, then go to the opening night celebration at Performance
Lexus from 5:30-8:30pm. Children are welcome. Go to
http://www.masonarts.org/
for more information and to RSVP for this great "kick off" event. (On
a side note, another great friend, Bonnie Collins of Bonnie Collins
Design designed the poster for this event - you can see her beautiful
creative dragonfly on
http://www.masonmetu.com.)
Here are the upcoming events and many are FREE - remember to get a
more detailed listing at

Also, it's almost your last chance to see Dinosaurs Unearthed at the
Cincinnati Museum Center, go to the Newport Aquarium during family
hours and enjoy 2 free children's admissions with a paid adult, and
