too fast. I can't believe that 2010 is almost here. I always seem
to have trouble with the year change for the first few months after
the ball drops and I don't think this year will be any exception.
2010 is a big year for me - it'll be 15 years of wedded bliss for
Chris and I (I don't even think Chris is on this email list but if he
is, this is a big, big hint - no more ab rollers, no more Old Navy
yellow t-shirts.....hello trip for two.......wishful thinking I'm sure
- lol), my baby turns 5 in Jan, and I turn the big 40 in Aug.......oh
my!
Due to the holidays, I've been a bit remiss in keeping the monthly top
picks calendar stocked full of things to do but I'll get back on track
after the first of the year. We don't have any big New Year's Eve
plans this year - you can read more about my New Year's of yester-year
on http://www.MasonMetu.com (just scroll to bottom of the page for the
"Happy New Year" post).
If you don't have anything going on this weekend, I highly recommend
visiting the Cincinnati Art Musuem for the fantastic FREE Family First
Saturday event (Jan. 2). You can enjoy making some art with your kids
as well as seeing some kid-friendly entertainment such as
storytelling, music and more. This Saturday the theme is "Artful
Adorments". It's also a great way for your kids to see a real art
museum.

suggestions on other historic places to add, please send me an email

Dec. 31 - Snowball at Great Wolf Lodge - Join GWL to ring in the New
Year. The Lodge will be packed with entertainment, games and music.

Dec. 31 - Bounce in the New Year - 10am-1pm - Pump It Up, West
Chester, Ohio. $10/child, free for parents/grandparents. Snacks,
drinks, prizes and a balloon drop. Please RSVP.
Dec. 31 - New Years Eve Blast - Fountain Square - FREE - 8pm - Enjoy
music, & free ice skating ($2.50 for skate rental). See an amazing Ice
Bar which will have beer and martinis for sale. Stay for the fireworks
at Midnight and dress warm for this outdoor event.
Dec. 31-Jan. 1 - New Years Buffets - Welcome the new year in style
with a grand buffet at Great Wolf Lodge. Reservations are not

Jan. 1 -Learn to Skate Cincinnati - FREE ice skating lesson - Must pre-

Art Museum - 1-4pm - Scavenger hunts, crafts, artist demos,

Jan. 2-3 - Boar's Head & Yule Log Festival - Christ Church Cathedral
(downtown) - 5pm on Sat. & 2:30 & 5pm on Sunday - See over 200
