Fwd: IFC Meeting 4/12 and IFC Academics

For the IFC meeting on April 12, 2010 all chapters are required to resubmit their scholarship plans to myself by 5:00pm via email or a hard copy.  This is necessary because not all chapters turned in scholarship plans iniatially due to the school closing because of the snow.  Within the next week 2 weeks I will be meeting with each chapter’s scholarship chair or a member of your executive board.  During this meeting we will review your chapters’ scholarship policy and discuss relevant issues that pertain to IFC Academics.  Fines will be assessed to those chapters who are late to resubmit or turn in a copy of your chapters scholarship plan.

 

Your chapter’s Scholarship plan should include:

Objective of your scholarship program
Who your scholarship chairman is
The scholarship chairman's duties
His contact information
The Purpose of your Scholarship Committee
Chapter Scholastic Goals(short and long term)
New Member Scholastic Goals
The incentives within your chapter to reach these goals
Deterrents/penalties within your chapter to reach these goals
National and Chapter Academic Bylaws
