Greetings Mason Riders,

First off, thank you all for making Day 1 great! Several riders mentioned that they really enjoyed the Fountainhead course (despite the rain), and had a lot of fun!

Day 2 promises to be just as challenging! Meanwhile, we,have a few last minute changes to the schedule as follows:

1. Start time has been moved back to 8am.

2. The first ride will be at the Lorton Prison aka Giles Run Meadow Park aka Laurel Hill Park located off of Lorton Road at:

8400 Lorton Rd, Lorton, VA 22079

Easy directions (if you GPS is not doing it for you) - take I-495/I-95 (Capital Beltway south of DC) to I-95 S; 7 miles to exit 163, right on Lorton Rd. (Rte 642), 0.5 mile, right at 8400 Lorton Rd. into park. Parking lot on left past pond.

3. Once we finish the Super-D, we will move from the Lorton Prison parking lot to the Equestrian Center. Directions are as follows:

Leaving the Prison Parking lot, turn right onto Lorton Road - it becomes the Furnace Road Detour (only way go now). At the light at the top of the hill, turn right. The gravel entrance to the parking lot is approximately 200-yards past the light on the left. Turn left on Dairy Road. Look for the silos, the fenced in Equestrian Ring, and the old prison dairy. Parking is tight so please follow the attendants instructions (orange vests).

We will remain here for the STXC and XC events.

4. Please check into registration in the morning so that we know who is racing which events.
