Dear Colin,

This first article is particularly germane to Mason. It would be
terrific if you could make spearheading such a program at Mason (which
involves state of the art equipment, rather than the "red bike" model)
part of your brief.

Best,
Robert

Hello Robert and all,

I think that a successful bicycle program will have to contain many components that would cater to different segments of the Mason community. The Bike Village definitely has the potential to cater to
more than one segment but I agree that it won't be for everyone. That being said, I think that it would be very difficult to have a successful bicycle program at Mason without the Bike Village or something like it.

I'd be happy to continue this conversation in-person and I'd very much like to do it at a Bicycle Committee meeting.
